Years ago, you used to be able to find a creamy Parmesan peppercorn salad dressing at any

number of popular restaurant chains. Unfortunately, many removed this item from their menus due to budget cuts. Thankfully, making a homemade version isn’t only easy to do, it also tastes better than what you could find in restaurants!

Ingredients

½ cup mayonnaise

½ cup full-fat sour cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 Tablespoons water

1 Tablespoon white wine vinegar

1 Tablespoon lemon juice

2 teaspoons minced garlic

1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning


Directions


In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the ½ cup of mayonnaise, ½ cup full-fat sour cream, ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 2 Tablespoons of water, 1 Tablespoon of white wine vinegar, and 1 Tablespoon of lemon juice. Whisk together until smooth and well blended.


Add the 2 teaspoons of minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of freshly cracked black pepper, ½ teaspoon of salt, ½ teaspoon of onion powder, and ½ teaspoon of dried Italian seasoning to the mixture. Stir until all ingredients are fully incorporated.


If the dressing is too thick for your liking, you can add a little more water, a ½ teaspoon at a

time, until the desired consistency is reached.


How to Store Garlic Parmesan Peppercorn Dressing


Transfer the dressing to an airtight glass container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. Store leftovers in the refrigerator and use within 7 days.
